What actually keeps our procurement rolling? Or rather: who keeps it rolling? Gabriela Bürger is our expert in operational purchasing. Born in Remscheid, she is where all the threads come together: She is responsible for the processing of European and international procurement as well as for the coordination and control of the forwarding agencies. She also checks all incoming invoices with a critical eye and is responsible for their 100 per cent accuracy. She is also responsible for orders and data maintenance. As an experienced buyer, she also handles price enquiries with our suppliers with mountainous negotiating skills.
Over 30 years of experience
With over 30 years of professional experience, Gabriela Bürger has more than enough qualifications for all these demanding tasks. She also learned her trade as an industrial clerk in Remscheid during her three-year apprenticeship. She then worked in Wuppertal, where she was in charge of international purchasing for Europe and Asia for more than twelve years.
A tinkerer's heart from our Bergisch region
What she likes most about her current employer, BS Rollen, is the open and friendly atmosphere, the fact that hierarchies are kept flat and decision-making channels are short. The icing on the cake is that her areas of responsibility are very varied, so there is never a dull moment. Nevertheless, Gabriela Bürger has still set herself goals and would like to quickly familiarise herself with new areas and get to know our products even better in the future - be it through training or, as befits a power woman from the Bergisches Land, through her own tinkering with wheels and castors.
Still full of energy after work
Speaking of power, the woman from Remscheid still has enough after work to take good care of her husband and her cats. And she doesn't miss out on her passions, such as music, travelling and sightseeing in the trendy metropolises.
