Improper use
Wheels/castors are not being correctly used when ...
- the wheels and castors are used with a load capacity that exceeds that maximum load capacity as shown in the manufacturer's technical data;
- the use takes place on an unsuitable surface; they are exposed to too high or too low ambient temperatures;
- a device with locked wheels and castors ist forcibly moved; fixed castors are moved lateral to the direction of travel;
- partricularly agressive media are able to act;
- improper impact and drop loads are able to act on wheels and castors;
- foreign bodies are able to penetrate the tread;
- the wheels and castors are being moved or driven at too high a speed;
- modifications are made that have not been agreed with the manufacturer;
- soft tread is used on soft floors, hard tread is used on hard floors.
