They make every material handling extremely fast, simple and therefore highly economical. The new castor series is installed in castor floors or in castor units, castor platforms or castor tables, which optimise airport freight handling.
Air Cargo Castors are more dynamic than ball transfer units
The new Air Cargo Castors are the next generation of transport dynamics and replace the Ball Transfer units in many areas. As fully-fledged castors embedded in the castor floor or table, which rotate freely through 360 degrees, they offer immediate cargo guidance in the desired direction at a speed that only ball-bearing castors can provide.
Cargo Castors particularly robust and safe in practical use
The air cargo castors have been developed from practical experience: with impact protection for the wheels, impact-resistant, abrasion-resistant bandages, ball bearings protected with rubber seals and galvanised dust shield to prevent wheel blockages. They have proven their performance in many static and dynamic load tests and are used by leading air freight and logistics companies.
Of course, the new Cargo Castors have galvanized sockets and housings and are supplied with rectangular or oval mounting plates. They offer a load capacity of up to 295 kg per castor.
Quick patented wheel change possible during operation
If a wheel has to be changed, the wheel is changed in a few seconds by a lever movement, an ingenious patented solution. Nothing is screwed, you only need a tool for dismantling the old wheel and a special hammer with a precisely shaped plastic block for mounting the new wheel (available as a tool set). Therefore the assembly/disassembly of wheels is also possible during operation and thus almost without stopping the plant.
Air Cargo Castors are installed in castor floors, trailers and lifts
The Air Cargo Castors are used as Castor floors / Air Cargo Castor Beds or in Cargo Dollies / Caster Bed Trailers and Air Cargo Lifts of various loading systems and move - in the system with approx. 11 to 16 castors per sqm - with their high load capacity per roll tons of freight.
