In the retail trade, the rotating collar has been indispensable for many years. Here it is used to present the range of goods - e.g. jewellery, clothing or accessories such as glasses - to the customer in such a way that he always has a complete and direct view of the goods. With turntables, viewers get an optimal overview. But the rotating elements are also increasingly used in industry and in the assembly sector. They are characterised by their versatile application possibilities, offer a 360° rotation range and are suitable for equipping a wide variety of product carriers. Their fields of application include storage space, small stages or complete dressing aids. They are popular in the catering trade for presenting cakes and other baked goods in confectioneries, or they are used as turntables for tables in restaurants for presenting specialities to guests. Our rotating collars are extremely powerful, as they are able to turn weights of up to 350 kg.
The turntable enables a variety of uses
At BS Rollen we offer you the extremely resilient turntables in different versions, so that you can get the right product for every application. Depending on the application requirements, a rotating collar made of electro-galvanised sheet metal, aluminium or plastic - in black or transparent form - can be selected. Some versions are available with a Teflon coating and a swivel stop on request. With regard to load capacity, you can choose between versions that can carry weights from 80 kg to 350 kg.
Innovative turntable with new design from BS Rollen
We also offer turntables for the rotation of two plates. They are characterized by a new design consisting of a rotary core and four variable rollers. The set can be mounted flexibly, as the distance between the rollers can be changed. This makes it possible to rotate two carrier plates in both small and large versions smoothly and with almost no tilting moment about their own axis. The special turntable allows the two plates, which are connected with a screw, to rotate freely up to a weight of 100 kg.
Turntables and rotating collars for heavy weights
Rotation with greater loads, for example in industry or in assembly areas, can be a challenge for a slewing ring. For the rotation of units with particularly high weights, thrust bearings offer an ideal alternative. They are made of solid steel and can be mounted just as easily and quickly using a screw-on plate. High-quality pressure ball bearings are available from us in different sizes, so that you can get the optimal tool for every application. The load capacity of the largest version is up to 1500 kg.
