Light-duty roller tracks
Light wheel conveyors
Light wheel conveyors are the right choice for the manual transport of piece goods weighing up to 20 or 30 kg. Light wheel conveyors offer an efficient solution for the in-house transport of light to medium-weight piece goods. Light wheel conveyors enable targeted storage and effortless transport. In this way, they accelerate and regulate the production process.
The light wheel roller conveyor runs smoothly with a slight gradient
Light wheel roller conveyors are ideally used with a gradient of two to five percent. This is enough to make the best possible use of the gravity-controlled run. Light wheel conveyors transport goods without generating any energy costs. The speed of the continuous material flow can be individually controlled. Light wheel conveyors can also be used as a horizontal manual pushing track.
Flexibility all along the conveyor
Light wheel conveyors are flexible in use in dry indoor areas. They are not only flexible in terms of gradient and thus in the speed of transport, they can also be set up quickly. For this reason they are often used for loading. Since light wheel conveyors do not need a motor, they are almost maintenance-free. Individual rollers and parts can easily be replaced.
Plastic or steel rollers
For robust conveyance goods, small rollers made of durable, galvanized steel are the best choice, while plastic rollers are used for more sensitive goods. They offer the additional advantage of not generating much rolling noise. Both variants have ball-bearing axles.
Requirements for the conveyed goods and conveyor routes
Important requirements for the conveyed goods such as cardboard boxes or containers are that they have a flat, stable base and are at least 200 mm wide. The smallest material to be conveyed should rest on at least three roller axles.
The load-bearing capacity of wheel conveyors depends on the width of the track, the distance between the rollers and the distance between the supports. The conveyor lines can be planned individually according to the requirements. Light wheel conveyors can be delivered adapted to the spatial conditions.
