If heavy goods have to be transported, where a higher load capacity is required, you should rely on robust carrying rollers made of steel tube - bright or galvanised. These transport a wide variety of goods on roller conveyors, containers, workpiece carriers, crates and boxes, but also mesh boxes and especially pallets. The material and surface of the idlers should be selected depending on the goods to be conveyed in order to keep wear as low as possible. The quality and the material play an important role, especially for permanent use and permanent loads.
For this reason, idlers made of steel are often used for transporting pallets or similar products. The surfaces of the tubular steel rollers are extremely insensitive, just like the rest - even when the mechanical requirements are high, as is the case with sharp-edged conveyed goods, for example. The use of galvanised steel idlers is recommended when moisture is added during processing.
