Cast wheels offer maximum stability in all situations
Flange wheels not only stay safely on track, but are also resistant to lateral and peak pressure, have high load capacities, even for heavy-duty use and good heat resistance. The wheel flange and tread are overturned. Towards the axle side, the running surface rises (by 3°) so that the rail vehicles roll on the rails with little pendulum movement and always centred. Flange wheels can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. This not only increases safety during transport, but also the guidance of the goods during transport can be adjusted accordingly. The load capacity of the flanged wheels with ball bearings ranges from 400 to 3.000 kilograms per roller. These rollers are therefore ideally suited for the highest loads and are also used in a wide variety of applications, for example as door rollers. Alternatively, cast wheels without wheel flanges with ball or roller bearings, which have a load capacity between 250 and up to 1.500 kilograms per roller, are available.
