To guide steel ropes as well as fibre ropes in lifting devices such as cable cars or pulleys, our rope sheaves and pulleys are used. They are used to guide the rope safely in the groove, thus preventing wear and tear as well as damage and buckling of the rope. Thanks to the deflection function and the safe guidance that takes place in the rope groove, the required direct force is reduced. In this way, the sheaves minimize energy loss during movement. Due to their high functionality and stable properties, they are the optimal choice to support lifting or transport systems and elevators. Lifting, securing and tensioning heavy weights is also no problem with these castors.
Sliding doors are safely guided by the use of door castors during every opening and closing process. The smooth running castors support easy door opening.
Smooth and gentle opening and closing thanks to our door castors
Door rollers are usually used in sliding doors. They are used here to create a horizontal movement of the doors. They do not have a swivel range, as they do not require a rotary movement. One door leaf or several door leaves are moved by means of the sliding door rollers and pushed to the side. This is done by moving the door rollers on a track, thus triggering the opening and closing of the door. The castors are installed in a running gear. Our door castors are available in different sizes and are characterised by their versatile usability.
Safe guiding of the rope sheaves over the groove
Our rope sheaves are available in plastic, which ensures a smooth movement of the ropes. Ropes with a diameter of 5 mm to 25 mm can be guided in the semicircular groove of the pulleys. This makes guiding them effortless and safe, as excellent concentricity is achieved due to the optimum transmission of tensile forces. The door castors are also equipped with a groove. This ensures smooth running in the rail, so that the opening and closing process is smooth.
Door castors and rope sheaves of different materials
Our rope sheaves are made of plastic, which is characterised by its solid properties, and are fitted with plain or ball bearings. The material ensures quiet running, protection of the rope against wear and tear and low weight. Furthermore, you will find cast door castors in our portfolio. Metal has the advantage of a high torsional load capacity and an enormous load bearing capacity. This makes these castors ideal for all working areas where heavy weights and/or permanent use are a major factor. Depending on the design, the load limit of the rope sheaves and door castors can vary. The castors with plain, roller or ball bearings have a load capacity that can range from 30 kg to 245 kg per wheel. Castors in different sizes with varying diameters and correspondingly different wheel widths can transport light, medium or heavy goods, depending on the model.
