Mostly designed for special purposes, our special wheels are used both in toy construction for slide cars, hand trucks and the like and in the garden area for lawn mowers. In addition, they are often used on or under furniture or apparatus.
Special wheels are particularly suitable for niche applications of this kind, as they have an appearance as well as a design that is necessary for the corresponding use.
The variety of special wheels
Since the construction of the special wheels follows its intended use, no two special wheels are alike. Wheel bodies, for example, can be made of steel or plastic, while treads are made of materials such as PVC, plastic or polyurethane. Furthermore, special wheels are usually equipped with plain or ball bearings.
Steel disc wheels for toy making and extravagant furniture
Steel disc wheels have been the classic for building children's toys for decades. They can be found under slide cars, rocking horses, doll's prams, pull-along prams, baby walkers and pull-along toys, and with their bright red steel rims they make every toy something special. The unusual steel disc wheels are particularly popular for wooden or tin toys. Due to their retro character, they are also very popular in display and shop construction.
Plastic disc wheels for garden vehicles, lawn mowers and toy making
Plastic disc wheels have very good grip due to their tread surface and are therefore mainly used outdoors and in gardens. The wheels with the red plastic rim are often used for lawn mowers, fertiliser carts or similar and impress with their robustness during use. Due to the profiled appearance of the lug wheel, plastic disc wheels are also used in toy construction under slide cars, tractors or excavators.

The quiet treadless wheels with the typical oval cross-section are also popular in furniture construction, as they give modern pieces of furniture and displays a special character.
